Sixth-place outing for Oakley Johns at Thunderhill Raceway

Losing Friday night's opener to a sudden rain shower, Oakley Johns unloaded at Thunderhill Raceway (Summertown, Tenn.) on Saturday afternoon for the one-day Grand Reopening event with the Spring Nationals Series.

After getting DQ'd in qualifying, Johns charged forward in his heat race and in the 60-lap feature event. Oakley wound up with a sixth-place finish in the $15,053-to-win finale.
