Oakley Johns competes in NASCAR weekend at Talladega Short Track
On Friday afternoon, Oakley Johns followed the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series to Talladega Short Track (Eastboga, Ala.) for NASCAR weekend.
Racing his way into the $5,038-to-win Jerry Goodwin Challenge, Oakley finished 13th in the 38-lap feature. Finishing fifth in a last chance qualifier on Saturday, Johns was not able to make the $15,097 finale.
