Oakley Johns tackles Dirt Late Model Dream at Eldora Speedway
On Wednesday afternoon, Oakley Johns rolled into Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) before heavy rain showers washed out the FloRacing Night in America show that was scheduled for that evening.
Kicking the festivities off on Thursday, Johns started his heat race from the third-row and faded back to 12th. Buried in the back of a B-Main, Oakley did not transfer to the preliminary feature.
Starting towards the rear of his heat race on Saturday, Oakley struggled to make up positions and did not make the cut from the $100,030-to-win crown jewel.
